The smallest acceptable leak size, in a vehicle's OBD-II EVAP system, is 0.020" (1/2 mm) in diameter. The leak on the left is 0.010" in size, which is 1/4 the surface area of a 0.020" leak -- demonstrating how the smallest of leaks are easily seen with either diagnostic smoke vapor or UltraTraceUV® dye. |
